Remake of Le Bureau des Légendes (2015)

During a dialogue from The Martian in a discussion with Dr. Blake, the acronym “OBE” is incorrectly explained as “Overtaken By Events.” In U.S. government agencies, including those of the intelligence community and the Department of Defense, the correct/official explanation of the acronym “OBE” is “Overcome By Events.”.

The acting overall I give 8/10

The highlight of The Agency is Michael Fassbender, a great actor and convincing in his role as a field agent who comes home after a long time in the secret service. Even the supporting characters have done a good job so far (apart from the smallest characters trying to be clever). The story is nothing new but several plot threads are interwoven and by the end of the second episode I’m still not sure where it will lead, so it’s good that it’s unpredictable.

The soundtrack is good

Nice touch with the song “Love is Blindness”. You can see that a good budget was invested here, with movie actors it’s obvious of course but even more so because of the locations chosen and the way some of the action sequences were shot. It seemed like a good movie.

I’m looking forward to the next one

I enjoyed it a lot but I might be biased, Michael Fassbender is one of my favorite actors.
